ABOUT ME
As a geography major and self-admitted map addict, I spent many years traveling vicariously via National Geographic Magazine. My childhood was filled with road trips through the western U.S, but I longed to see the places I’d only read about. Finally, in my late twenties, I took my first trip outside the US to the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. I clearly remember standing on a beach in Puerto Morales and imagining my place on the globe. Every time I travel now, I picture myself standing on a globe – it helps put things into perspective!
After many years planning my own travel as well as helping friends and family plan vacations for fun, I started working full-time at Dimensions in Travel in 2018. I am excited to help create amazing vacations for you!

Most Recent Trip
I was lucky enough to take a Mediterranean cruise on the Emerald Princess a few weeks ago. The cruise started in Barcelona and stopped at the ports of Gibraltar, Marseilles, Genoa, Florence and Rome. I had a wonderful time exploring the winding alleyways and incredible antiquities of Europe. Cruising on Princess makes your vacation easy. Great food, tons of activities, plus exciting itineraries make the journey a destination unto itself.

Top Travel Memories
... Driving along a dusty dirt road after spending the afternoon climbing a hidden Mayan Ruin in the Yucatan, we picked up a young Mayan woman with a baby, hitchhiking. When we dropped her off, she clearly wanted to thank us for the ride, and as she stepped from the car, she pressed into my hand a still-hot, charred sweet potato – the only thing she had. To me, this is the essence of travel – how those unexpected moments become lasting memories and how the connections we share with others stay with us long after we’ve returned home.
... In Puerto Nariño, Amazonas, Colombia everything is reused in this car-free, sustainable village on the Amazon - that includes the soccer field which serves as a swimming pool in the wet season too. How flexible and resourceful the people here are! Pink river dolphins swim just beyond the “soccer field.”
